New Mode: Shared Life, a Two-Player Co-op Challenge
New this update: we just added Shared Life, a two-player co-op challenge built entirely around teamwork. Instead of two separate players, you and a friend share one life pool: shared health, shared hunger, and a single shared inventory. If one of you takes damage, both of you feel it. If one of you eats, both are fed. And any item one player picks up instantly appears for the other too.
That one shared bar changes everything. Every choice matters, so a careless jump or a forgotten meal is now a problem for two people at once. In practice that means a lot of real coordination and, honestly, a lot of funny panic moments when things go sideways. Our full Shared Life guide walks through how the shared pool works before you dive in.
Cooperative, no fighting required
Shared Life is purely cooperative. There is no required fighting, so the focus stays on solving problems together rather than competing. Explore far enough and you can uncover a hidden scripted royal castle, the Castle of Shoham, tucked away for teams who work well together.
Like the rest of our kingdoms, Shared Life runs on Java and Bedrock, friends only, so it is the perfect fit for a tight server for friends. Bring one trusted partner and see how long your single shared life lasts. Browse all the worlds or start a private kingdom to try Shared Life today.
