What is Spleef?

For players: You spawn on a big snow floor holding a diamond shovel. Everyone digs like crazy, trying to break the snow under everyone else's feet. When someone runs out of floor, they fall through and they're out. The last person still standing wins, and a brand new round kicks off right away. For parents: Spleef is a simple, kid-safe mini-game with no fighting or scary content. Eliminated players don't die or lose anything, they just wait a few seconds for the next round to begin. How to start playing (your first minutes)

1. Open Minecraft on your device: Java Edition on PC or Mac, or Bedrock Edition on console, phone, tablet, or Windows.
2. Join your SNT Gaming server address (a parent gets it after checkout, and it works on both Java and Bedrock).
3. You will land in the lobby, Shoham's Kingdom. Walk into the Spleef portal.
4. That is it: you are put into the next round automatically. No typing needed, just wait a few seconds for it to start.
5. When the round begins you will be holding a diamond shovel on the snow floor. Start digging the snow near other players to drop them through.
6. Invite your friends to join the same server and hop into the arena so you can all play together.

How Spleef works

• Every round you get a diamond shovel that instantly breaks snow blocks.
• The arena is a flat floor made of snow, floating over a drop.
• Dig the snow out from under other players so they fall through the gaps.
• If you fall through the floor, you're eliminated for that round.
• The last player still standing on the snow wins the round.

Spleef is designed to be played with almost no typing, but a few commands help you join, check the round, and get back to the lobby. Admin commands are for whoever manages your kingdom.

Best tips for beginners

• Keep moving, standing still makes it easy for someone to dig under you.
• Dig just ahead of where an opponent is running, not right under yourself.
• Watch your own feet, don't back yourself into a corner surrounded by holes.
• Aim for players who are near the edge, one gap and they're gone.
• Don't dig one giant hole, spread small gaps so enemies fall but you stay safe.
• Lost this round? No worries, the next one starts in seconds, so learn and try again.

Better with friends

Spleef is at its best with a full arena of friends. With a group you get real chases, sneaky traps, and last-second saves that everyone laughs about afterward. You can gang up on the strongest player, form quick truces and betray them a second later, or run your own mini-tournament to see who wins the most rounds. Troubleshooting

• Can't join the server? Double-check the exact address and that you're on the right edition (Java or Bedrock), then make sure your username is on the whitelist.
• Spleef portal not working? Stand fully inside it for a second, or type /lobby and walk in again from the hub.
• Typed join but nothing happened? Use /spleef status to see the round, a new one may just be about to start.
• Can't invite a friend? They need to be added to the friends-only whitelist first, ask the parent who manages the kingdom.
• Stuck or fell somewhere weird? Type /lobby or use the return-to-lobby compass to reset back to Shoham's Kingdom.
• Shovel not breaking snow fast enough? Make sure you're holding the diamond shovel you were given at the start of the round, not another item.
