BedWars is the most famous team minigame in Minecraft: your team's bed is your respawn, so you defend it with everything you have while you bridge across the void to break the other team's bed. What is BedWars?

For players: BedWars is Red team versus Blue team on floating sky islands. Your island has your team's bed, as long as it stands, you respawn every time you fall. Resource generators drop bronze, iron, and gold; you spend them at your island's shop villager on blocks, swords, armor, and tools. Build a bridge across the void, sneak or fight your way to the enemy island, and break their bed, then knock them out for the win.

For parents: BedWars is friendly, cartoon-style team play on a private, friends-only arena. There is no gore, a knocked-out player simply reappears at their island a moment later, and rounds restart automatically so nobody is ever left out for long. It rewards teamwork and planning more than fighting skill.

How to start playing

1. Open Minecraft (Java or Bedrock) and join your SNT Gaming server.
2. From the lobby, walk into the Bed Wars portal.
3. You land in the BedWars waiting lobby and are placed in the game queue automatically, no menus, no typing.
4. As soon as 2 players are in, the countdown starts. Teams are assigned automatically (or click a team wool in your inventory to choose).
5. The round starts on your team island. Grab resources from your generator, buy gear from the shop villager, and go break the other team's bed!

How BedWars works

• Your bed = your respawn: while your bed stands, you always come back. Lose it, and your next knock-out is final for the round.
• Resource generators: bronze drops fast on your island, iron is rarer, and the shiniest loot, gold, spawns on the center island where both teams meet.
• Shop villager: click it to buy blocks for bridging, swords, armor, tools, and more with the resources you collect.
• Bridge the void: the islands float over nothing, place blocks to cross, and don't look down.
• Auto rematches: when a round ends the arena resets itself and the next round starts from the waiting lobby.

BedWars command guide

Here is the best part: you do not need any commands to play BedWars. Walk into the portal and you are placed in the game automatically. These optional commands exist for parents and older players, and they work the same on Java and Bedrock.

You can also right-click the return-to-lobby compass in your hotbar to head back at any time.

Best tips for beginners

• Cover your bed first: spend your first bronze on blocks and bury the bed under a few layers.
• Bridge smart: a straight one-block bridge is fast but easy to knock you off, crouch while you place.
• Visit the center island: gold spawns there and buys the best gear, but watch out, the other team wants it too.
• Upgrade your sword and armor before you attack an enemy island.
• Losing your bed isn't losing the game: you keep playing, just don't get knocked out again.
• Talk to your teammate: one defends, one attacks. Teamwork wins BedWars.

Better with friends

BedWars is competitive but gentle: knocked-out players respawn at their island while their bed stands, rounds are short with automatic resets, and the arena is on your child's private, friends-only server, no strangers, ever. Troubleshooting

• The game doesn't start: BedWars needs at least 2 players in the queue, invite a friend or sibling in.
• I fell into the void: if your bed stands you respawn on your island in a moment. Grab blocks and try again.
• I can't buy anything: collect bronze from the generator on your island first, then click the shop villager.
• The Bed Wars portal doesn't work: stand fully inside it; if nothing happens, type /lobby and try again.
• I can't join the server: check you're on the friends-only whitelist and using the exact Java or Bedrock address from your welcome email.
