🎮 You don't need to type any commands to play, just walk into the portal and click. Everything is set up for you. The commands below are optional extras, mostly for parents and older players.
What is Prison?
For players: you start at rank A with a pickaxe and a mine full of ore. Mine blocks, earn coins automatically, and when your wallet is fat enough, rank up - each new rank unlocks a better mine with more valuable ore. There are 26 mines, A to Z: climbing all the way to Z is the long game.
For parents: Prison is a peaceful progression game - think "idle game" energy inside Minecraft. There is no fighting at all on our version (PvP is off), just mining, earning, and the satisfying click of ranking up. It rewards persistence and gives kids a clear long-term goal.
How to start playing
- Open Minecraft (Java or Bedrock) and join your SNT Gaming server.
- From the lobby, walk into the Prison portal.
- You arrive at the hub overlooking Mine A. Hop in and start mining!
- Blocks you mine go straight to your inventory and sell into coins - your pickaxe does the magic.
- Got enough coins? Rank up to B, and a richer mine unlocks. Keep climbing toward Z!
How Prison works
- 26 mines, A to Z: each rank has its own mine with better ore than the last - from humble cobblestone up to diamond-grade riches.
- Auto-magic mining: mined blocks are picked up, smelted, and sold automatically - no inventory juggling, just mine and watch the coins grow.
- Rank up when ready: each rank has a price; pay it and the next mine opens for you.
- Mines refill themselves: every mine resets on a timer, so there is always fresh ore - you are teleported safely out when it happens.
- Peaceful by design: no PvP, no mobs in the mines - the only competition is who ranks up faster.
Prison command guide
Here is the best part: you do not need any commands to play Prison. Walk into the portal and start mining - selling is automatic and the rank-up is a click in a menu. These optional commands exist for parents and older players, and they work the same on Java and Bedrock.

You can also right-click the return-to-lobby compass in your hotbar to head back at any time.
Best tips for beginners
- Just keep mining: in the early ranks, time in the mine beats everything else.
- Rank up as soon as you can - each new mine pays much better than the last.
- Mine the good stuff: in every mine, the rarer-looking ore is worth more - learn what pays.
- Do not fear the reset: when the mine refills you are teleported out safely, then it is full of fresh ore.
- Race a friend: same start, same mines - see who reaches rank F first.
- The long game: Z is far away on purpose. It is a marathon, not a sprint.
Better with friends
Prison is the perfect side-by-side game: everyone grinds the same ladder, so progress is instantly comparable. Race to each rank, compare balances, and celebrate when someone unlocks a new letter. Because it is peaceful, nobody can knock anyone back - the only way to win is to out-mine your friends. It is also a great "chill mode" between rounds of BedWars or SkyWars.
Notes for parents
Prison is our most peaceful competitive mode: no fighting (PvP is disabled), no strangers (private, friends-only whitelist), and a clear, wholesome goal - work, earn, advance. It suits kids who love progression and numbers. Sessions are easy to pause: progress saves automatically and the mine will be there tomorrow. Troubleshooting
- I can't afford the next rank: keep mining - higher-value ore in your current mine adds up fast.
- The mine suddenly refilled: that's the automatic reset; you are teleported out safely and can jump right back in.
- I fell in a mine and can't get out: open
/guiand teleport, or just mine your way up the wall - or type/mtp. - The Prison portal doesn't work: stand fully inside it; if nothing happens, type
/lobbyand try again. - I can't join the server: check you're on the friends-only whitelist and using the exact Java or Bedrock address from your welcome email.
