The 26.x version family, including today's snapshot 26.3-9, is not yet supported by PaperMC, Velocity, or the Via suite. That means a 26.x client cannot connect to your kingdom right now, and no kingdom update is possible or necessary at this stage.
The moment the wider server ecosystem officially supports Mojang's year-based versions, the SNT team will evaluate a migration path carefully, prioritising stability for all six game worlds (Survival, SharedLife, RandomLoot, Chaos, Spleef, and Rivals) and the custom SharedLife mod running on the Fabric backend.
