Minecraft Bedrock 26.32 Hotfix: Crashes, Frame-Rate Drops & Audio Bugs Fixed

By SNT Gaming · 2026-06-26 · updatesbedrockreleaseparentsplayers

What Changed

On 25 June 2026, Mojang released Bedrock Edition 26.32, a targeted hotfix for issues discovered shortly after the previous major update. Because it rolls out platform by platform through each store's approval process, it may appear on your device a little later than the official date, just keep an eye on your app updates.

Here is every fix included in this release:

Why It Matters

Hotfixes like this one are Mojang's way of rapidly patching problems that slipped through pre-release testing once millions of players get their hands on a build. The 30 FPS lock and mid-game crashes in particular are the kind of bugs that can turn a fun afternoon of building into a frustrating restart loop, so getting these out the door quickly is the right call. The Book & Quill freeze is also worth noting for any family or server that has been playing continuously across multiple versions, since older world data could trigger it without warning.

Java and Bedrock

This is a Bedrock-only hotfix. Java Edition is not affected and receives no update alongside this release. If you or your kids play on PC through the Java launcher, nothing changes on your end today. Bedrock players, including those on mobile, console, and Windows via the Microsoft Store, are the ones who will see this update land.

For Server Owners

If you run your own Bedrock Dedicated Server (BDS) instance, check whether an updated BDS binary matching 26.32 is available for your platform. Keeping your server version aligned with the client version prevents the protocol mismatch errors that stop players from connecting. The fixes here are all client-side behaviour and stability changes, so there are no new gameplay mechanics or world-format changes to prepare for.

For Parents

This update is a straightforward safety net, it makes the game more stable and less likely to freeze or crash on your child's device. The restricted-skin fix is also a small quality-of-life win: kids whose accounts have skin restrictions set by parental controls can now properly join single-player or locally hosted worlds with multiplayer turned off, without hitting an unexpected block screen. No new content, no new purchases, no settings to change, just a smoother experience after updating.

For Players

Good news if you've been hitting weird crashes or a sluggish 30 FPS cap lately, 26.32 should sort that out. A couple of things to know:

Just head to your platform's store or update screen and grab the update, it may already be waiting for you!

Do SNT Kingdoms Need an Update?

No action is needed, and SNT kingdoms are unaffected by this hotfix. Here's why: SNT Gaming kingdoms run on Paper 1.21.11 backends with a Velocity proxy, and Bedrock crossplay is handled through Geyser + Floodgate. Critically, Minecraft 26.x clients are not yet supported on SNT kingdoms, PaperMC, Velocity, and the Via suite (ViaVersion / ViaBackwards / ViaRewind) have not yet migrated to Mojang's new year-based versioning scheme, so 26.x protocol support is not available on the server side.

This means Bedrock players connecting to their SNT kingdom today should continue using a pre-26.x Bedrock client to maintain access. Once the broader ecosystem (PaperMC, Velocity, Geyser) catches up to the 26.x protocol, SNT will evaluate and roll out compatibility, and we'll post an update here when that happens. For now, sit tight and enjoy the stability improvements on your own device while your kingdom keeps running smoothly.
